L'After - Our After School Program

L'After - Learning After School, is a safe, fun and enriching program for students in grades K-6. There are five sessions each year, taught by classroom teachers, school staff, high school students, parents and community members.

We have had programs in art, music, drama, foreign language, reading, physical activities/wellness, cooking and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). We have connected to the community through Book Club at the Wardsboro Public Library, Fiber Fun (Felting) with wool from Maybelle Farm, and Wardsboro History, learning first hand from members of the community. We also participate in local and national programs such as Math Olympiads, a worldwide math program/competition for students in grades 4 - 6, Girls on the Run, a wellness program for girls in grades 3 - 6 and each fall we have a spelling bee program ending with participation in the WCSU Spelling Bee.

Programs take place weekly Monday - Thursday, 3PM to 5PM.
Snack is provided along with a recess and homework time.
